SKULL INVASION

SECTOR_BRIEFING

How to play

• Move your defense node along the bottom band with the arrow keys or A and D.
• Fire purge rounds upward with space — only two rounds ride the field at once, so make them land.
• Four unit tiers, top to bottom: command runs the fire rate, armored eats two rounds before it drops, striders break formation to dive on you, drones just come at you.
• Command units buff the whole swarm's spike rate while they're alive — take them out first and the volley slows down.
• Armored units take a plate hit before they actually die — the second round is the one that scores.
• Striders peel off the formation once a wave runs long and dive straight at your position. Shoot them down before they land on you.
• Clear the whole formation — divers included — to advance. Every new wave descends faster and fires harder.
• The swarm speeds up as you thin it out — the last few stragglers race your line, so keep the pressure on.
• Data bulwarks brace the defense line from wave 2 on — how many you get depends on the formation you're facing. They block shots from both sides, but the swarm just plows through them.
• Kills occasionally drop a skill capsule — a small, wobbling target you have to shoot to claim. Land it for a timed weapon upgrade: shotgun spread, rapid fire, or a full machine-gun cadence.
• Three lives. Take a hit and you respawn centered with a brief grace window; let a single unit reach the defense line and the sector is lost outright.
