SND_META // CURRENT_STATUS

Current meta status

Two primaries control competitive Search & Destroy right now: the M15 Mod 0 and the Dravec 45. Both are legitimate picks — this is not a ranking.

The Dravec 45 is a fully competitive SMG pick. The M15 Mod 0 is the more common call because it handles gunfights across the whole map — accurate at range, strong mobility, no dead zone in its effective range.

If you only want to learn one weapon for S&D, the M15 Mod 0 is the safer pick for covering most situations.

M15 Mod 0

Assault rifle. Effective across nearly any engagement — useful across the whole map rather than locked to one range.

Dravec 45

SMG. The alternative for players who prefer it — still a fully competitive meta pick, even though the M15 Mod 0 is the more popular call.

Sniper access

Snipers are still permitted in competitive Search & Destroy for now — Hardpoint and Overload restrict them, S&D does not.

VS Recon is the sniper option under the current ruleset.

That access may not be permanent. It could get restricted in Ranked depending on how the developers manage the ruleset going forward.

Secondary weapon

The Jager 45 is the only secondary option in competitive S&D — the Velox 5.7 and Coda 9 are both banned.

Equip it and move on. It's there for when the primary runs dry, not a build decision worth overthinking.

Wildcard

The wildcard choice comes down to Gunfighter (extra attachments) versus Perk Greed (extra perks).

Perk Greed is the stronger competitive pick for S&D — the mode rewards a deeper perk kit over overloading a single gun.

The competitive perk pool is restricted, which keeps the whole loadout tight.

Flak Jacket or Lightweight — Flak when the enemy pre-nades sites, Lightweight when your job is taking routes or positions fast

SND_META // EQUIPMENT

Equipment

Frag over Semtex for flexibility — cook it, bounce it, pre-nade routes, or force defenders off a site.

Flash Grenades are banned, so Stun is the only tactical option.

Lethal:

Field Upgrade:

Trophy System (High Efficiency Battery Overclock) — the only viable competitive pick
